In accordance with Cabinet-directed Tied Work Guidelines, Crown Law is the sole legal service provider to QGIF with the exception of Medical Indemnity claims which are referred by QGIF to a specialist Whole-of-Government legal services panel. Service Level Agreements are in place to optimise claim outcomes and manage legal defence costs.
In addition to appointing legal service providers, QGIF may, in appropriate circumstances, engage loss adjusters, factual and surveillance investigators, medico legal specialists, forensic accountants and engineers.
